You enter the property via a long rural dirt road, which was the original Roman highway running through this area, so a car is necessary for this location. The road turns off the main road and winds up to the property. The first level terrace and parking area you come to has the quaint one bedroom cottage on your right with further terraced land where extra sleeping pods or glamping tents can be placed and two stables on the left. The property is partially fenced with fenced areas for animals, so pet friendly and secure. There are two houses on this property the Main Quinta and the Cottage.

The Cottage ……….

The quaint one bedroom cottage is packed with storage and feels spacious inside. The covered BBQ area also boasts a wood fired pizza oven for the perfect outdoor kitchen and additional dining space. From this area there are double glazed glass doors that open into the kitchen and living room area of ​​the cottage. The rustic kitchen is made up of local timbers keeping that warm country feeling. It has an electric hob with 4 plates and a countertop oven, with a double sink. The wood burner in the living room heats the whole place in winter. Wooden stairs lead upstairs to the open bedroom on the mezzanine with a Juliette balcony overlooking the stunning views. There is a w.c., with shower adjoining it.

Outside there is a laundry room, which also has storage, along with the dogs sleeping area and pen. There is further storage for the timber that they have collected from clearing the property, so there is no shortage during the winters. There are terracotta tiles throughout keeping it nice and cool in the hot summers.

The Main Quinta ……….

The road then winds up to the 2+2 bedroom Quinta which has a Rural Tourismo lisence and booked solidly even with some clients booking it for full months at a time. There is a parking area as you drive up, with the Quinta in front of you and the exquisite infinity salt water pool down on the next terrace below to the right, taking in the views of the mountains and valley. This is definitely a slice of paradise and the perfect spot to unwind. There is ample space on the terraced property for functions and they have hosted weddings at the Quinta, along with enclosed dog area and stables for the animal lovers.

The Quinta has been lovingly built in 2014 with concrete and stone detail around it. As you enter the Quinta you are led into the open plan area of ​​the kitchen, dining and living room. Terracotta tiles throughout the open area. The kitchen has an electric hob and built in cupboards with a stainless steel double sink. There is space for a 10 or 12 seater table in the dining area. The living room has ample seating and a wood burner that heats the central heating, keeping it nice and cozy. The large double glazed glass sliding doors lead onto the landing outside and create a frame for the ever changing picturesque and breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. There is a guest bathroom, to the right of the stairs with storage and the boiler to the back of it.

The beautiful stairs with authentic Portuguese tile detail, lead up to the first floor. Here you have a landing, with a door leading out to the BBQ area and also leading to two en-suite double bedrooms both with double glazed glass doors opening onto balconies to take in the views of the mountains and scenery. Wooden and metal stairs take you up to the second floor landing where you find a further two large rooms utilized as bedrooms. One is currently set up as triple room with 3 single beds and the other has 2 single beds, both sharing a bathroom.

Overview ……

There are many terraces with options to plant vegetables or add to the already growing number of fruit trees. There is a further outdoor eating area with a BBQ that provides jaw dropping views. Below there is a further terraced area ready for entertainment or functions. There are numerous wells on the property, 2 ponds and taps with hose pipes set up every fifty meters. The Quinta and cottage get their water supply from the wells. The Quinta has solar panels set up for hot water keeping the costs low, the cottage has an immersion heater. There are two large septic tanks one for each house.

For those looking to expand, with further accommodation, there is the option to add glamping tents or wooden pods, convert the existing stables or even add a further rental property.
