This property is located less than a kilometre from the village of Salir do Porto on the Silver Coast. In Salir there are several cafes and restaurants, a large, well stocked mini-market that has wonderful bread and cake deliveries every day.

The beach at Salir do Porto is a 15 minute walk and here you will find a good beach area, the highest sand dune in Europe and a boardwalk that leads around to the beaches at Sao Martinho do Porto.

Sao Martinho is one of the most popular beaches on the Silver Coast due to it’s shell shaped bay which makes a safe swimming and bathing area for families. You can walk along the beach all the way to Sao Martinho itself. This is a good sized town with a wealth of individual and unique shops as well as cafes, restaurants, mini-markets, pharmacy, banks, butchers. There is also a daily market where you can buy wonderful local fresh produce, bread, cheeses as well as other items for the home, in addition to clothes, shoes etc.

The town of Caldas da Rainha is a 15 minute drive. Caldas is a good sized town with a fabulous town center filled with a variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. There are also cultural centers where there is a regular program of music, theatre and performing arts in addition to various events. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market where you can purchase local produce, fruit, vegetables as well as cheeses, breads, flowers and a variety of other local items.

On Mondays there is a large market where you can buy almost anything for the home and garden.
Transportation links are close by and it is less than an hour to Lisbon and Lisbon International Airport.
