The home is accessed via electric gates that lead into a sweeping block paved drive that leads up to the front and side of the villa. Access is by way of the front door set into a curved entrance area that opens into the lower level of the home or by way of a ramp that leads to the first level balconies.
On the main level, your eye is immediately drawn to the huge windows that adorn the front and sides of this area giving expansive views to the surrounding countryside. In the living/dining room area there are beautiful wood floors, feature stone walls and a unique and attractive half hexagonal wood burning fireplace. There are also efficient heating/air conditioning units fitted to two walls. The large sized sliding patio doors open onto the terraces that provides views as far as the eye can see.
The modern kitchen has a fabulous centre island that houses a five ring electric hob and a single gas wok element with an extractor fan over, a double stainless steel sink with mixer tap. There is a raised tempered glass breakfast bar. A large bank of floor to ceiling storage cupboards houses eye level double ovens. Full glass pane doors and windows provide far reaching views from the kitchen over the countryside beyond.
A small set of stairs up to a half landing has a door off to the first bedroom. This room has wood floors and sliding patio doors to a side and a rear terrace. Off the bedroom is a very large walk in wardrobe with rails and drawers. The ensuite bathroom has designer double sinks set into a vanity unit. An attractive walk in shower, toilet. The ensuite bathroom is fully tiled.
A further set of steps leads up to a massive roof terrace that stretches all along the front and side of the home. The infrastructure is in place here, by way of wiring, doorway placement etc., to turn part of this area into another bedroom. There is also wiring in place for the installation of a hot tub on this level. The glass surround has been fitted with frosted glass in order to make this level completely private should a hot tub be put installed.
From the main living area there is a set of small steps that lead down to a two piece guest bathroom with toilet and sink. This bathroom is fully tiled.
The second bedroom is very large with tiled floors, a large picture window and a wall mounted heating and air conditioning unit. The ensuite bathroom has a full bath with shower off taps, a sink set into a vanity unit and a toilet. The bathroom is fully tiled. There are free standing wardrobes which are to remain.
On the lower level is a huge storage area/utility room. There is a base unit that has a hook up for a washing machine and a dryer.
The large garage has, for the present owners been left open to the lower level as they use it more for living space than for a vehicle, however it would be very easy to install a stud wall and separate this space off. This area would also be the perfect area to convert to a guest annex or separate apartment area and with it being on ground level it would be very easily made wheelchair friendly.
The villa sits on over 5000m2 of land. There is a large block paved driveway that leads up to the front and rear where parking is provided on both the lower and main level.

The owners have installed a wooden cabin on the property that could be used for visiting family and friends, this is separate from the main house so is private.
This villa sits on the hillside in this small village in Serra do Bouro. It is at a high point so the views are uninterrupted and far reaching.
The beaches and town of Foz do Arelho is 7 minutes away where there are shops, restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, banks, several mini-markets, butchers, etc. The beaches here are beautiful and sought after and also surround the Obidos Lagoon where there is access to a variety of water sports.
Sao Martinho do Porto is is ten minutes away. Sao Martinho is famous for it’s enclosed beach making this a safe place for families to enjoy the waters. Sao Martinho is a busy town with many restaurants, cafes and shops.
Caldas da Rainha which is the bigger town in this area is a busy and thriving town with some lovely shops, cafes, many restaurants offering a variety of cuisine choices, entertainment venues, doctors offices, dentists, hospital and everything you would expect for a good size town. There is a beautiful centre park here that has a restaurant and an area that is set aside for a children’s play centre. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market where you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetable, cheeses, lovely fresh local bread, flowers, plants or you can just sit and enjoy a coffee while you soak up the atmosphere. There is also a large Monday market where you can buy all manner of items for the home and garden.
The villa is close to main transportation links and Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are an hour away.
