The attractive landscaped garden is filled with colour and a tranquil area to sit and relax. There is a large garage/workshop. The house is insulated and has central heating.
In detail …….
Access to the property is via two single pedestrian gates, one to the front and one to the side or a double sliding gate that opens onto the driveway. A path leads to the covered front terrace.
The front door opens into an entrance hall that has tiled floors and leads into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This area is filled with light from the two sets of patio doors that open onto the front terrace. There is a feature wood burning fireplace with a stone surround. The fireplace has been fitted with a recuperator ensuring maximum heat distribution to this area. The floors are tiled and there is a door that opens into a convenient storage cupboard.
The kitchen has a matching range of base and wall units with work surfaces incorporating a double stainless steel sink with drainer and mixer tap over. There is an electric hob and electric oven with extractor fan over. The base units incorporate a space for a dishwasher and washing machine and space for a large fridge/freezer. It is worth noting that if a gas hob is preferred the pipework is in place for this.
The inner hallway has two windows that look to the rear of the property. The floors are tiled and there is a central heating radiator.
The first bedroom is a good sized double and has tiled floors, built in wardrobes and a double window to the front over looking the garden.
The bathroom has a sink set into a vanity unit, a bidet, w.c., and a full bath with shower off the taps. The bathroom is fully tiled, has an obscured window to the front and a heated towel rail.
The second bedroom has tiled floors, built in wardrobes and double windows to the front.
Off the living room is a door that opens onto the staircase that leads to the first level/loft. At the bottom of these stairs is a door that opens onto the rear of the house.
This area has finished walls and floors and has windows installed. The present owners have divided this into a bedroom and office at one end and a living room at the other. This level of the home could be divided into one or two bedrooms, a sitting room and a bathroom for which the plumbing is in place. With the addition of a kitchenette it would also (with appropriate licences), be possible to make this area totally independent from the main home and use for guests and family or to rent out as a holiday home.
The garden has been beautifully landscaped and divided into separate areas. Immediately off the kitchen is a covered terrace that incorporates the brick built BBQ and leads to a lovely and private, shaded, outside sitting and dining area, perfect for enjoying the garden or for entertaining guests.
The block paved driveway has been divided into two sections by the current owners who in the upper part of the driveway, have incorporated a fish pond. This is beautifully designed with natural stone and planted with vibrant and colourful greenery.
There is then a landscaped area that is finished with artificial grass and surrounded by beds and pots filled with colourful flowers and shrubs. A lovely olive tree has been planted in the middle of this area.
The covered terrace runs half the length of the house and is a shaded area, perfect for enjoying the start or end of the day with a relaxing cup of coffee or glass of wine.
There is a well on the property that provides irrigation and would provide water for a pool if desired.
The path extends to the left of the house where a door opens into a large garage/workshop.
The house has dual central heating. There is a newly installed pellet burning system which connects to all the radiators throughout the house. The central heating can also be switched to run off gas which is bottled.
There are fly/mosquito screens on all doors and windows.
