There are also cultural centers where there is a regular program of music, theatre and performing arts in addition to various events. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market where you can purchase local produce, fruit, vegetables as well as cheeses, breads, flowers and a variety of other local items.
On Mondays there is a large market where you can buy almost anything for the home and garden.
Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are less than an hour away.
