There is a gas hob and an eye level electric oven. The base units have space for a dishwasher and there is space for an upright fridge freezer. The kitchen has enough space for a family sized table and chairs and there are patio doors that lead to the side garden.

Off the kitchen is a utility/storage space that has the hook up for the washing machine.

Location …..

This property is located on a quiet road in a semi-rural setting. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are lovely views from the garden and terraces.

The medieval town of Óbidos is 9 km away. In Óbidos there are two major supermarkets, cafes, mini-markets, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, doctors offices and other shops and amenities. Óbidos is one of the most popular destinations on the Silver Coast. There are various events held in the old town during the course of the year (although suspended at the moment due to Covid). The most popular of these are the Medieval Festival where the old town really does revert to Medieval times and visitors can hire medieval dress to totally absorb themselves into the spirit. There is also a chocolate festival, a fabulous Christmas festival and others. At the time of writing (July 2021), these activities are limited due to Covid, however the town is still putting on events but in a reduced capacity keeping in mind hygiene and safety.

The town of Bombarral is 10 km away. Bombarral has a very pretty town centre that has cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, doctors offices, dentists, banks, mini-markets and everything else you would expect from a good sized town. There is also a good bus station that will take you to points north and south. The main A8 route is a couple of minutes away.

The large town of Caldas da Rainha is also 10 km away. Caldas has a population of approximately 52,000. Caldas is a lovely town that is large enough to provide all you need while still maintaining a welcoming and vibrant community feel. In Caldas there are an unending array of cafes and restaurants, catering to every taste, including vegan, gluten free and other dietary preferences. Caldas has hotels, shopping centres, cultural centres, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, two hospitals, schools for every level. There is also a fabulous centre park where there is usually some form of entertainment taking place. There are often art displays here, once a month there is a fabulous outdoor antiques and flea market that stretches throughout the entire park and makes for a great day out. There is a duck pond in the park where you can rent boats and there is also a children’s play area.

There is a daily fruit and vegetable market in Caldas where you can buy wonderful and fresh local produce as well as fresh baked bread, cheeses, pulses, beans, nuts, dried fruit, beautiful and colourful fresh flowers, baskets and many other local artisan products. There are several cafes directly off the market to enjoy a relaxing coffee while picking up your produce. A Monday market covers a huge area and at this market you can expect to be able to find pretty much anything for the home or garden.

Lisbon and Lisbon airport are 50 minutes away.
