The property is access by way of a automatic double gate that opens onto the driveway or a pedestrian gate which opens leads to the covered front porch and front door.

The kitchen is fitted with an attractive range of base and wall units with work surfaces that incorporate a double sink with drainer and a mixer tap over. There is a five ring gas hob with an extractor fan over in addition to an eye level built in electric oven and built in microwave. There is also a dishwasher and space for an American size fridge/freezer. The centre island provides additional work surface space and plenty of storage in the draws and cupboards. A large double window over the sink looks to the back of the property. Off the kitchen is a large, shelf lined, pantry that provides additional storage space.

The dining area is directly off and combined with the kitchen. The table and ten chairs were built by a local carpenter who also built the kitchen. The table and chairs are included in the price.

An inner hallway leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The floor in the hallway is tiled, there is a central heating radiator and a large double storage closet.

The first and second bedroom have beautiful polished wood floors, built in wardrobes, double windows to the outside and a central heating radiator.

The family bathroom has a sink set into a vanity unit, a w.c., bidet and a full bath with a shower over. The bathroom is fully tiled, has a heated towel rail and an obscured window.

The master bedroom is particularly spacious, also has beautiful polished wood floors, double windows to the rear and a central heating radiator. There are glass fronted built in wardrobes and an ensuite. The ensuite bathroom has a w.c., sink set into a vanity unit and a walk in shower. The bathroom is fully tiled, has a heated towel rail and there is a double window.

From the entrance hall a set of stairs lead to the upper loft area. This is a very large open space with polished wood floors, wood lined ceilings and velux windows. There is also a set of patio doors that open onto a terrace that looks out over the garden. This is a fabulous space that could be utilized for a number of potential uses be it a games or family room, additional bedrooms or perhaps an annex for when there are guests.

Outside …..

There is a very large block paved driveway that will easily accommodate several cars and a motorhome is desired. This leads to a double garage.  The garage has a convenient shower room with a w.c., and sink.

Off the garage area is a covered area that incorporates a brick built BBQ area that has a bread/pizza oven.

To the front of the house is a garden area that is mainly laid to lawn with colourful plantings of various shrubs, plants, trees and flower borders. A large covered porch is immediate to the front of the house.

To the right hand side of the house is a large garden area that has been beautifully landscaped by the present owner. The garden has several lawn areas that are interspersed with flower beds. The flower beds are planted with some vibrant and colourful plants. A solid path winds through the entire garden providing an easy access for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. There are several lovely arbours that have climbing colourful and fragrant plants adorning their structure. Also incorporated in the garden is a large fish-pond with stunning and colourful water lilies.

To the left side of the house is a small orchard area where there are a variety of fruit trees.

On the property also is a licensed bore hole with a depth of 126m. This provides ample irrigation for the garden. The garden is fully fenced/walled.

Location …..

This property is in a great location just outside the town of Alfeizerão on the Silver Coast. It is 3km from the centre of the town. In Alfeizerão there are several cafes and restaurants, a pharmacy, banks, bakeries, mini-markets, butchers, doctors etc. There is a Tuesday market in the centre of town where you can buy local produce, fruit, vegetables, along with cheeses, breads, flowers and plants.

The town of São Martinho do Porto is 6km or a 7 minute drive. São Martinho is one of the most popular towns and beaches on the Silver Coast. The town itself surrounds the shell shaped bay which in itself provides a safe area for families to enjoy days on the beach with safe swimming. The beach stretches all the way around to the nearby village of Salir do Porto. In São Martinho do Porto there are numerous restaurants and cafes that cater to many different palates. In addition there is a pharmacy, supermarkets, several mini-markets, butchers, bakeries, lovely pastry shops, gift and souvenir shops as well as clothing chops and shops with wonderful products for the home and garden. A promenade and cycle track stretches around the whole bay with the cycle track connecting to the Estrada Atlantica where you can cycle for miles. There are also fabulous walks that surround this entire area.

The town of Nazaré is 11km or a 10 minute drive away. Nazaré is most famously known for it’s huge waves at certain times of the year which makes it very popular for surfers. There is a very wide and beautiful beach in Nazare and in the town itself there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, doctors, dentists, schools and a plethora of shops that stretches the length of the promenade and into the town itself.

The main town of Caldas da Rainha is 16km or 17 minutes away. Caldas has a population of approximately 52,000. Caldas is a lovely town that is large enough to provide all you need while still maintaining a welcoming and vibrant community feel. In Caldas there are an unending array of cafes and restaurants, catering to every taste, including vegan, gluten free and other dietary preferences. Caldas has hotels, shopping centres, cultural centres, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, two hospitals, schools for every level. There is also a fabulous centre park where there is usually some form of entertainment taking place. There are often art displays here; once a month there is a fabulous outdoor antiques and flea market that stretches throughout the entire park and makes for a great day out. There is a duck pond in the park where you can rent boats and there is also a children’s play area.

There is a daily fruit and vegetable market in Caldas where you can buy wonderful and fresh local produce as well as fresh baked bread, cheeses, pulses, beans, nuts, dried fruit, beautiful and colourful fresh flowers, baskets and many other local artisan products. There are several cafes directly off the market to enjoy a relaxing coffee while picking up your produce. A Monday market covers a huge area and at this market you can expect to be able to find pretty much anything for the home or garden.

Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are approximately one hour away. A regular bus service runs from Caldas da Rainha to Lisbon. The high speed trains run from Lisbon down to the Algarve.
